Telephone 01793 522492 between the hours of 8.30am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday or between 1.00pm and 6.00pm on Wednesdays. Or call in at the surgery during those hours. Please make it clear if your problem needs urgent attention, we request that making routine enquiries and non-urgent appointments is left till after 11.30am.
We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 11am. Home visits take up much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen. You may be telephoned back by a doctor before a visit is made to ascertain the visit is necessary – home visits are always done at the clinical discretion of the doctor.
Important – For Emergencies you should attend the Accident & Emergency Department of your local hospital or dial 999: an emergency is a critical or life-threatening situation, and includes things like: chest pain or suspected heart attack, head injury, severe loss of blood, severe breathing difficulties, loss of consciousness, deep wounds, suspected broken bones.
If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation, then please advise the Receptionist when booking an appointment or when checking in.
Please note all our Doctors speak English. Telephone translators can be arranged via ‘Language Line’ or ‘Alpha Plus’ for most languages. Please inform the Receptionist if you would like to use either of these services and ask for a double appointment.
